Once Upon A Princess

Happy Wednesday everyone! I can't believe it's already Wednesday! The week sure does fly by when Monday is a holiday!

Today I wanted to share something that I made for my daughter. She asked me to make her a sign for her room with a princess on it. I recently scored an amazing deal on the Once Upon A Princess Cricut Cartridge at Joann's for $2.99!!! I've been wanting this cartridge for a while, so I couldn't pass it up!

Here's what I came up with for her sign. I used Once Upon A Princess for the Rainbow and the Princess. I used the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge for the pennant and the background that the princess is on. For the Princess face I used the Princess Faces from Peachy Keen Stamps. LOOOOVE These!!! And they go PERFECT with this cartridge!

I also entered this one in the Peachy Keen Stamps Sketch Challenge! If you have some cute Peachy Keen Stamps, you should play along too!

Thanks for stopping by today! :-)

Happy Camper!

Happy Friday!!! And as promised on my facebook page, I will quit teasing you all! :-)

I am very excited about this album! I have been holding on to this Camping word book for a while because I didn't have the perfect paper for it... not anymore! About a month ago I won the Imaginisce Happy Camper line of paper from the Pink Cricut Birthday Bingo game! I just love this paper and it went hand in hand with this album!

Here's a pic of the Happy Camper line, it's a must have!

What also went hand in hand with this album were my new Woodland Critters stamps from Pink by Design!

And the last perfect element needed for this album, "The Great Outdoors" pattern set from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs!

I made this album for today's Little Scraps of Heaven Designs DT Challenge. Our challenge was to scrap your favorite summer vacation spot. Well... my summer vacation spot is OBVIOUSLY the beach, but I've done a few beach album lately and I figured that THIS summer we will be doing a lot of camping locally due to the high gas prices, so it's a little harder for us to get from Ohio to the beautiful beaches of North Carolina (which are by far my fave!) So here's my favorite vacation project for this summer.... CAMPING!!! :-)

This album is now available for purchase in my etsy shop. Thanks for stopping by!

For today's project I was debating on doing an album or something different, so I decided to go with something different! :-)

I love altering things and clipboards have become one of my favorite things to alter! I used the "Shore Thing" paper collection from Imaginisce. I love this paper and have had it sitting on my shelf for quite a while! I also purchased the Beach penguin patterns from My Scrap Chick to use with this paper line. I plan on making an album with this paper line soon, but for now, I decided to just do this cute little clipboard. Oh, and the punch that I used on the bottom and on the tags is by ek success, one of my favorite punches that I own! I hope you all love this project! It was a lot of fun to make!

This little clipboard can be found in my Etsy shop for sale now!

Disney Trip, anyone?

I've had this chipboard album sitting in my stash for a while (actually... I have 3 of them!), so I finally decided that it was time to put one of these together!

Our Design Team challenge for yesterday over at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs was "All About Family." So we had to make our projects based on the family theme such as vacation, camping, swimming, etc. I decided that this little album would be perfect for the theme! I used little bears from the Clubhouse Gang Dress Up pattern collectionn from LSHD. Make sure you check out the Little Scraps Of Heaven Design Team Blog to join in on next week's challenge with us!

This album is now available for purchase in my etsy shop :)

Scrappin' Chics Design Team Challenge

Hey everyone! I am excited to announce that I am also now designing for the Scrappin' Chics Design Team. If you haven't checked their blog out yet, please do! Each month we will be posting projects and encourage everyone else to get involved and post along with the monthly themes! Lots of cool prizes will be awarded as well!

Scrappin' Chics Challenge

The design team will be posting 3 projects per member each month. For the month of may we were to design items with a Kitchen Theme. I decided that there would be nothing better to keep in the kitchen than a recipe book! I choose to make a word book that says "Recipes" and fill it full of index cards to write recipes on. For this album, I used Basic Grey's Offbeat line of paper. For the little kitchen shapes I used the Cricut Cartridge From My Kitchen. I just love how this album turned out, just like everything else that I make, I wanted to keep this little album for myself, but decided to go ahead and put it in my etsy shop for sale.
