Fun With Acrylic!

Happy Saturday everyone! I've been quite busy this week with custom orders! I love doing custom orders because usually the buyer knows exactly what they want so it makes my job a little easier!

For this order, Christie wanted a hot pink and lime green acrylic album for her 17 year old daughter. I searched for the perfect paper and finally found it! I used paper from Basic Grey's Euphoria line.

I also used up some of my scraps from this album to make a card for the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Design Team Friday Challenge. Our challenge was called "Playful Paws" and we were required to make something with "paws" including some sort of embossing. I used the Pink Poodle Pattern Set and embossed little hearts on the poodles pink puffs.

Thanks for stopping by!

Where Has The Time Gone?

Wow! I have been super busy this past month! So sorry for the lack of blogging! Did everyone have a good Christmas? I always love this time of year, it's always good to just spend quality time with friends and family! Did everyone get cool gifts this year? I know we did! The kids got lots of cool toys! Reagan got a Princess kitchen so she can cook me some yummy food, and she loves her little "Critter Clinic" vet shop thing... Target was on it with the toys this year! They have some really cool "B" toys which go along with the green movement I do believe, very cool! I got a Cricut Gypsy... but Santa still hasn't made it to my house with it... I guess he shouldn't trust fedex to do his job! lol We got lots of fun games for the Wii, our fave so far is the Michael Jackson Experience, loads of fun! It's a definite must have for any MJ fan!!! My hubby got some Reebok Zig shoes, he says they are extra comfy. We got Wii fit also... someone must be trying to tell us something! :-)

Anyways, speaking of having a fun time, I have been busy having a fun time making custom orders! I thought I would share with you all of the orders I have made this month. You can see full albums on my facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/CreateSerendipity07

I did 6 altered clipboards (not all are shown, obviously)

11 mini albums (not all are shown)

And I also did 4 altered photo frames, and not to mention some of the 12 days of Christmas projects for JAFDT. I was sure busy and now it's time for a much needed break!

Lastly, I wanted to share a pic, we took Reagan and her cousin to see Tangled, it was Reagan's first time at a movie theater! She did pretty good!

Wishing everyone a Happy & Safe New Year! I will be back to creating next week, but as for now, I'm going to RELAX!!! :-)

SCRAPtember!

Wow, November already???!!! Elsa from Just A Few Paper Designs said that we need a whole month where we do nothing but scrap, and we shall call it "Scraptember"! lol Well, it feel like it's been Scraptember this past week at my house! It always makes me feel good when I get a lot accomplished, but this past week has blown every other week of scrapping out of the water! I completed 9 paper bag albums and 1 8x8 custom Disney album (I didn't take photos of that one before I shipped it out... oops!)!!! I have been on a roll!!! Most of the albums were custom orders, but I did manage to get some new items listed on eBay this week. Hopefully I will have lots of new albums listed just in time for Christmas! Keep checking back regularly, lots of cool stuff is in store for Create Serendipity! Don't forget to become a fan on facebook http://www.facebook.com/CreateSerendipity07!

Custom Twilight Series Album

I got a custom order last month for a Twilight album, I've always wanted to do one of these, but didn't know where to start as far as finding photos and quotes and such. I think it turned out very nice! What do you all think? Should I make more Twilight series type albums? Vampires seem to be the "IN" thing right now!

I also made a matching mini keychain/purse type album to match. I'm thinking about listing these for sale in my Etsy store. What do you think? I think they would make wonderful gifts!

Custom "Key West" Album

Here is my latest album that I just finished, it was a custom order for a fun, girly, vacation album to Key West. I used K&Co's Cintronella line of paper and embellishments.
