Fun With Acrylic!

Happy Saturday everyone! I've been quite busy this week with custom orders! I love doing custom orders because usually the buyer knows exactly what they want so it makes my job a little easier!

For this order, Christie wanted a hot pink and lime green acrylic album for her 17 year old daughter. I searched for the perfect paper and finally found it! I used paper from Basic Grey's Euphoria line.

I also used up some of my scraps from this album to make a card for the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs Design Team Friday Challenge. Our challenge was called "Playful Paws" and we were required to make something with "paws" including some sort of embossing. I used the Pink Poodle Pattern Set and embossed little hearts on the poodles pink puffs.

Thanks for stopping by!

Let The Sun Shine In!

Wow, there has been a series of BEAUTIFUL days here in Southern Ohio! Lots of Sunshine, which I love!!! With all of the sunshine, I was inspired to create another beautiful Acrylic Album!

I used Basic Grey's Ambrosia line of paper for this album. I just LOVE the orange & yellows! It really puts me in the mood for Spring, that's why I added lots of pretty butterflies as well.

You can find this album for sale now in my ebay listings.

I'm Bringin' Acrylic Back!

I know that acrylic albums used to be the "IT" thing on ebay a few years ago, but like all fads, those seemed to have died down. I don't know why though, they are so elegant and beautiful! I recently found a piece of this acrylic like plexi that I had sitting behind a shelf and I asked my husband to cut it and sand it for me so I could try an album again. I think it turned out beautiful! I used Basic Grey's Wisteria line of paper which is absolutely beautiful in itself. I've been saving this paper for the perfect project, and I think I found it!

You can see this full album in my eBay listings now! :-)
