Hey Cupcake!

Well, today is a special day for a very special man in my life. My grandpa "papaw" turned 77 years old today! That in itself is an achievement! He's an awesome man and without him I wouldn't be who I am today, so I'm sending out a very special happy birthday to my wonderful papaw today! ♥

In the spirit of Birthday's, I have a very cute Birthday themed album to share with you all today!

To find this cute little cupcake album on ebay, CLICK HERE.

This album is not your typical chipboard album, it is made of MDF board which is more of a wood material and is more sturdy than chipboard. These albums are AWESOME!

Here is the one I used:

It is a Kaiser Craft Beyond The Page Album. Papers used are also by Kaiser Crafts (I ♥ all of their stuff!!!). Thanks for stopping by!

Wow this is so neat. How do you tie all your bows? I'm trying to get the hang of bow tying. I have an album here I want to do a bunch of decorating in. Very nice.

Oh yes and sewing.. what settings and needle do you use.. I have a machine that is currently not doing much.. I am debating using it for scraping.

Ohhhh Tracey.... I really have no idea what settings I sew on! I don't know anything about my sewing machine, I just use it! LOL I normally use the zigzag stitch, I think I have the settings for the size and tension just set in the middle on 4 or 5. I just use whatever needle I have, I didn't really know it made a difference! That's sad, huh? I use my sewing machine daily though! Be careful though, they do get clogged with glue and if you're like me and sew on glitter paper, you will need a new needle for that! And as for the ribbons, I just tie them once. I don't knot them because it bunches them up unless they are a ribbon that comes loose easily. Now if the edges fray on that particular ribbon, I take a lighter and burn the edge just a little to heat set it. You can also do fray check, but I don't have time to sit and let that stuff dry! :-)
