May Arts Kids Craft Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to the May Arts Ribbon Kids Craft Holiday Blog Hop! We are kicking off a 2 day hop with the Ribbonistas to share some fabulous holiday crafts that you can do with your kids this Christmas.

I always have trouble coming up with craft projects that aren't too advanced and that I can make with my daughter. I must admit, this one wasn't my idea totally... I took to Pinterest (as we all do in crafty times of need) and found this super cute and easy Christmas Tree ornament craft. This was so simple and it would be a great project to make with your kids and give out as gifts or to tie on to presents this year.

You will need a variety of ribbon, some scissors, and a twig. I went outside and picked a little limb off of one of my trees.

Simply tie ribbons starting from the bottom. Be sure to leave a small space at the bottom so it will look like your tree trunk. Start to trim the ribbons as you go up making each one slightly shorter than the last.

Once you get to the tip, tie a string to use this as an ornament. Tie a tiny bow to the top to hide where the string was tied on and to crate a finished look.

Don't forget to hop along and visit the other Ribbonistas blogs today as well!

May Arts Ribbon / Core’dinations Blog Hop!

Welcome to the May Arts Ribbon/ Core'dinations blog hop!

For my project I created this fun fall banner.

I used some of the glitter cardstock from Core'dinations along with some lovely ribbons and flowers to create this simple & fun banner. The paper & sentiments are all from Authentique Paper's "Grateful" collection.

Be sure to check out projects from my fellow ribbonistas today!
