Hello Friend

We are having a bit of a heat wave here in the midwest... when I was given the "Hello Spring" collection by Little Yellow Bicycle last month for my Design Team project for Cord Camera Scrapbook Studio, I was a bit iffy to work with it considering it felt like Summer! I know yesterday was the first official day of summer, but we have been up and down in temps since early this year.... it's hard to tell what season it is!

Yes I was not a fan of this line when I started. I am not a fan of scrapping Spring projects period. However, I was a HUGE fan of the beautiful colors in this collection! I was also given a Little Yellow Bicycle 6x6 canvas album to play with, so I put a little thought into it and went a little beyond Spring.

The colors in this collection were PERFECT for a friendship album! I was able to pull out some acrylic paint and splatter it on the edges of the canvas album. I also added a little sparkle with some Mod Podge sparkle (love that stuff!!)

Do you have a Cord Camera store nearby? Now through Saturday, June 30th, you can save 30% on Little Yellow Bicycle's Hello Spring Collection! Just mention this blog post to a store associate at checkout or use promo code SPRING30 online!
