Happy Halloween!!!

Wow! I can't believe it's been a month since I've blogged!!! I haven't really done much, so I figured I would wish everyone a Happy Halloween and share some pics! We took little Miss Reagan to JC Penney yesterday to get some pics done, I thought they were adorable, hope you enjoy! :-)

Creative Gifting

Hey all! I listed a new item in my Etsy store this week! I decided to use my extra papers from other projects to make gift bows! These are perfect for birthdays and the upcoming holiday season!

Check them out! http://createserendipity.etsy.com

New Blog Design!

I never can seem to keep the same blog design for long! I'm always looking for a change! When I saw these new fall elements on Sweet Shoppe, I HAD to have them for my blog! :-) I hope you all like the layout I have made!

If you would like to snag these elements for yourself, you can get them HERE.

And don't worry, I'm working on my sidebar too! I lost all of my links when I re-did my design the last time and haven't been able to put them back up! I will get them up there soon! :-)

New Albums... FINALLY!

Hey everyone! Sorry I've been away for a while! I've picked up a job, so I'm no longer a stay at home mommy. I am still going to continue to create and sell because that is what I love to do!

Here are a few albums that I listed on ebay this week:

Addicting Games!!!

Ok, so yesterday I started playing a couple of facebook games.... let me just say... I'm ADDICTED now!!! I didn't realize that these games would be so fun and so time consuming! I probably should be scrapping, but I'm having so much fun with farmville and sorority life! lol If you play, come be my neighbor on farmville or join my house on sorority life! If you don't play and want to, beware, it is very addicting!

Long time... No Blog!

Hello everyone! Sorry I have been absent for so long! You could only imagine what a hectic summer I've had! Those of you who know me or are my friend on facebook or myspace probably either know or have a hint of what has gone on, but I'm not going to go into detail here. All I will say is that it has been a long stressful summer and it is FINALLY starting to look up! You know how they say "When it rains, it pours"? Pretty much sums up my summer in a nutshell!

Now on to the better things! I haven't really made anything at all! I've just been so stressed out that I haven't got up to my scraproom! I did however finish 4 custom albums. It was for an order that I got back in May (So sorry it took me so long Lisa!). I think they turned out nice. Here are those albums:

And lastly, another reason I haven't been around much is because I GOT A JOB!!!! :-) It's something that I needed to do for myself. I have been a stay at home mom for the past 3 years (well, I stayed home when I was pregnant too), so it was finally time for me to break that cycle and get out of the house! If anything, it helps to just interact with people who aren't 2 years old lol! My job is at a little clothing store, it's not much and it's part time, but it does get me out of the house! So far, I love it! I've been there almost a month now.

This past weekend I bought a Wii with my first paycheck. Great investment! We have a ps3, but I don't play games too much. I played the Wii at my mother in law's and I loved it! It is very interactive and just a lot of fun for the whole family! My husband and I play it at night and it's a good way for us to spend a little time together.

That's all for now! Hopefully sometime soon I will have more stuff posted on ebay and I will get back in the swing of things! So sorry I've been absent from blogging!

New Albums!

I've been on a roll this week! Last night I listed 2 new albums! One is a graduation album and the other is a nice summer like album. Both are very nice, but my favorite is the summer one because the colors are so bright and cheery! I just love the paper line! It's a new K&Co line designed by Carolyn Gavin. I loved it so much that I bought the 12x12 pad, 8x8 pad, 4x6 mat pad, and lots of matching embellishments!!! It's so pretty!

Wedding Mini-Series

I have had this wedding word book sitting around for quite a while. A few weeks ago I decided that I wanted to cover it. I had some extra paper so I decided, heck, why not make a mini-series! I tried my first multi-shape album and I think it turned out nice! I used Basic Grey's Lily Kate paper for both of these and filled them with matching embellishments.

Make sure you check out these auctions up on ebay right now! Click HERE to see my listings!

Custom Word Book Album

I always hate doing word albums because they take so long!!! First you have to glue the papers, let them dry, cut them out with an exacto knife, flip them over and do the same thing, sand them, ink them, embellish, add mats, tie ribbons, etc. It's a long process let me tell ya!

I got a custom order for a word book that says "Sophia." All that she said is that she wanted it to be pink. So I ran with it! I used Basic Grey's Sultry line of paper. I think it turned out nice with lots of pinks!

Custom Order #6

I have my reasons for keeping this album for last. First, I made a huge mess while making it {see above}... Second.... it was hard. Honestly, this was probably one of the most challenging albums that I have done. The order was for a "Disney Vacation" album. Her son loves Buzz Lightyear and her daughter loves Disney Princesses. Well, ok, not too hard, right? WRONG! How do you incorporate all of those colors together? I must admit, I'm pretty anal when it comes to colors. I don't like clashing colors, I want everything to match. This was tough.

I used several different papers, most of them are by Close To My Heart. I think for the most part, the album turned out really nice. I added lots of glitter and tried to separate the mismatching colors from each other. This is a very unique Disney album and it's not your common Mickey & Minnie album! The more I look at it, the more I like it! This was the first time I used my Mickey & Friends Cricut cartridge, and I must say, there is a lot more on there than I thought! Very cool cartridge! It's a must have for Disney fanatics!
