Welcome Spring!

Well, I guess I'm a little late on Welcoming Spring, but it's been so cold here in my neck of the woods that it almost feels like it's still Winter! Yuck!

I put together a little paper bag album for Spring using the Spring Has Spring patterns from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

Hey Cupcake!

Well, today is a special day for a very special man in my life. My grandpa "papaw" turned 77 years old today! That in itself is an achievement! He's an awesome man and without him I wouldn't be who I am today, so I'm sending out a very special happy birthday to my wonderful papaw today! ♥

In the spirit of Birthday's, I have a very cute Birthday themed album to share with you all today!

To find this cute little cupcake album on ebay, CLICK HERE.

This album is not your typical chipboard album, it is made of MDF board which is more of a wood material and is more sturdy than chipboard. These albums are AWESOME!

Here is the one I used:

It is a Kaiser Craft Beyond The Page Album. Papers used are also by Kaiser Crafts (I ♥ all of their stuff!!!). Thanks for stopping by!

Oh Baby! ♥

Hello everyone! I haven't blogged in a few days, so I thought I would share a couple of my new creations!

Yesterday I had so much energy that I thought I might as well put it to scrappin' while I could! Apparently I was in a baby mood, so I made these two matching baby girl and boy albums.

You can find both of these paper bag albums for sale in my ebay by clicking HERE.

I also made 2 matching mini acrylic keychain albums.

These cute little albums can be found in my etsy shop HERE.

Heidi Grace paper was used for all of the albums above. Thanks for stopping by!

Little Red Riding Hood

Hey everyone! I wanted to share with you today my latest album! I'm so excited about it! It's really cool to finish a project after I've had an idea in my head for a while and see how it turns out!

Last week I asked Tricia from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs if she could make me a Little Red Riding Hood pattern set for a DT theme we were doing this week over at MOMZ. I was thrilled when she came up with this cute set for me, you can now purchase it HERE!

After seeing commercials for the new Little Red Riding Hood movie, I wanted to do something along the lines of that and use my DCWV Immortal Love stack of paper. It's such pretty paper that I couldn't let it sit on the shelf for too long! Our listing theme for MOMZ this week is storybook stories/nursery rhymes. Make sure you search MOMZ on ebay to see all of the wonderful layouts & albums this week! So much talent in that group I tell ya!

Ok, now on to my album...

Everybody's Got A Little Irish In Them Today! ♣

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all of my online friends! Did you wear your green today? St Patrick's Day is one of my favorite holidays simply because I LOVE Green! It's such a pretty color!

I have a few projects to share today, both are projects that I've done for the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs DT recently.

First is this cute little "Lucky Bug" card:

Isn't it cute? I tried to load it up with glitter! I just LOVE the bling! If you're looking for the lucky bug pattern, you can find it HERE.

My 2nd project is the start of a paper bag album that I'm working on for my hubby:

Ok, so I'm slacking on this one. I've only made the cover... but I promise, I'm working on it! It's so hard for me to get motivated to work on my own albums! I've made a few for my hubby throughout our relationship, but this will be the 1st since we got married in September. I wanted to use some photos from our Beach wedding because they go great with this paper. The paper used is Portobello Road by K & Company. It's just a BEAUTIFUL line! For the tag I used the LSHD Tag pattern found HERE. For this project, the Design Team was required to make a project with a song title/lyrics. I picked the song "Lucky" by Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat. I thought the song was pretty perfect for this. I promise to show you all the rest of the album when it's finished, but I thought this was a pretty cool project for the theme today.

If you would like to see more "Lucky" projects for inspiration, check out THIS POST from the other day where I made a very cute mini acrylic album!

I hope you all have a very Happy St. Patrick's day! Thanks for stopping by!

I ♥ My Little Monsters!

Happy Sunday everyone! Did you all "Spring forward" this morning? It's a beautiful Sunday here in Ohio and I've been enjoying the sunlight shining in! I figured today would be a perfect day to share some of my new "bright" projects!

This first project is a project that I did for the Little Scraps of Heaven Designs DT challenge project this past week. I used the "Little Monsters" paper piecing patterns from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs, you can find them HERE. For this altered project, I found a little wood frame from Wal-mart for about $3 in the arts & crafts section. I used Basic Grey's Color me Silly line of paper because I love the bright colors and thought it would go wonderful with these cute little monsters piecings! After gluing the paper to the frame, I brushed it with Mod Podge to give it a nice clear coating. I cut the words with Sure Cuts A Lot (sorry, I don't remember the fonts!) and covered them with stickles to give it some bling!

Ok, so my next project was one that I had in the works for quite a while... I based my frame off of this album and decided to keep one for myself and sell the other!

This is a little chipboard album using the same paper line and same patterns for the piecings. I used different shapes of chipboard and alternated them throughout the album.

If you're interested in purchasing the Little Monsters album, you can find it on ebay HERE.

What am I doing today?

CLEANING MY SCRAPROOM!!!! Lol

Yesterday as I was taking photos of my LSHD DT project, I heard a big crash behind me.... eeeek!!! My wire shelf just fell apart and there went all of my paper pads and Cricut cartridges! Lots of people who saw the photo on my facebook page thought that I just pulled it all out from scrapping, now come on, I'm not THAT messy hehe

Happy Tuesday everyone!
