Welcome to the May Arts Ribbon Organization Blog Hop! If you came here from Dee Dee's blog, you're on the right track! If not, be sure to stop by the May Arts blog, you don't want to miss a single blog in today's hop! The ribbonistas are here to share tips and tricks to help you get your ribbon organized!
Before I joined the May Arts dt, I found this awesome hardware storage unit at a second-hand store for $25. I couldn't really pass it up, it's double sided and it even has wheels!
In the past I was storing my ribbon in clear paint tins (at the bottom), but as I began collection more and more ribbon, my supply became too much to fit into the little cans. I now have containers with lids filling the empty circles that I keep some of my yardage in.
Here's a view of my storage unit from the distance. Since joining the May Arts dt, I've accumulated quite a bit more ribbon, so this little unit will due until my husband can build me (a rather large) built-in unit for my craft room. A lot of my spools are in thirty-one totes for the time being. I highly suggest visiting second-hand and thrift stores for organization!
Now hop right along and see how Erika Taylor keeps her ribbon organized!
Don't forget to hop along all three days of this awesome blog hop for your chance to win 3 spools of yummy May Arts ribbon!
